About this Apprenticeship
Pierburg GmbH is seeking SAP experts to build a global SAP Competence Center. This permanent full time role can be based in Neuss or Neuenstadt am Kocher. Expertise is sought in FI, CO, MM, SD, QM, SRM, IBP, WM, PDM or PP to develop and manage central systems and support the strategic move towards SAP HANA. Applicants should state their specialist module.
What You'll Learn
- Design and operation: Support, develop and stabilise SAP modules, or provide functional and technical support for SAP components.
- Requirements management: Gather, specify and prioritise business requirements with departmental global key users, and support local requirements relating to local GAAP and IFRS.
- Customising and rollouts: Implement customising solutions, configurations and release management for module specific functions with a development provider.
- Provider management: Manage external providers.
- Interfaces and integration: Implement and monitor interfaces with other SAP modules, HCM and non SAP systems using IDoc, RFC and PO.
- Troubleshooting and support: Provide second and third level incident support, analyse root causes and coordinate with key users and developers.
- Testing and quality assurance: Plan and run tests, create test cases and support SAP updates and patches.
- Process improvement and automation: Identify ways to improve efficiency, implement automation, support RPA and workflow projects and build AI solutions.
- Documentation and training: Create operating and process documentation and train global key users.
- Compliance and audits: Ensure processes follow applicable rules and support audits and requests from internal audit.
Requirements
- Completed degree or vocational training in computer science and/or alternative qualifications.
- Several years of SAP experience.
- Strong knowledge of customising and integration.
- Experience with S/4HANA is an advantage.
- Knowledge of provider management.
- Good spoken and written German and English.
- Analytical thinking and an understanding of processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
