Shipbuilder and Welder for the Production Shipbuilding Area

From fabrication to assembly, you are involved in essential production steps in shipbuilding. This also includes shipbuilding outfitting work in section and module construction. As a welder: Manual maneuvers in awkward positions required? We will soon rely entirely on your steady and experienced hand! Because when it comes to machining test-required fillet and butt welds in forced positions, your expertise is needed. In thin sheet metal, you even manage machining using a mirror. You weld foundations, brackets, and penetrations made of steel, CrNi, and aluminum in section construction just as independently and routinely as for assembly.

• As a shipbuilder: From fabrication to assembly, you are involved in essential production steps in shipbuilding, including shipbuilding outfitting work in section and module construction.
• As a welder: Machining of test-required fillet and butt welds in forced positions, welding of foundations, brackets, and penetrations made of steel, CrNi, and aluminum in section construction and for assembly.

• Training as a construction mechanic (m/f/d) specializing in shipbuilding / welding technology or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
• Very good German
• Routine in processing steel, aluminum, chromium-nickel, and thin sheet metal using MIG/MAG welding processes (136/138) according to drawing specifications
• Performing planing work (groove, carbon planing)
• Authorization to operate floor-controlled cranes
• Committed, independent, and results-oriented personality with team player mentality who does not lose joy in their work even under high workload
