Service Technician Military Vehicles - Electronics Focus

The position at Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH in Unterlüß is open across Germany. As a customer service technician (m/f/d) you work 100% in the field, on assembly assignments in Germany and abroad. Full-time, permanent.

• Independent maintenance, repair and commissioning of military wheeled and tracked vehicles as well as turret systems and weapon systems
• Technical analysis of electrical issues, faults or requirements including evaluation and derivation of tailored measures
• Contact person (m/f/d) for electrical topics between the department and internal/external partners
• Coordinating and initiating measures for fault correction, optimisation and further development of electrical processes and systems
• International customer service assignments with longer stays of several weeks on site

• Successfully completed technical training in electrical engineering, automotive mechatronics or similar, ideally with a focus on system and high-voltage technology
• Further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or master craftsperson (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, vehicle electronics, mechatronics or similar
• Sound knowledge of relevant standards and safety regulations (e.g. VDE)
• Experience as a qualified high-voltage person (FHV) or as a skilled electrician
• Experience in maintenance, repair and commissioning of vehicles and machines is an advantage
• 100% willingness to travel due to permanent assignments in Germany and abroad
