About this Apprenticeship
Rheinmetall Protection Systems GmbH is looking for a C/C++ software developer for its development department in Lohmar. Full-time, permanent contract.
What You'll Learn
- Carrying out software-in-the-loop (SiL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) tests
- Connecting external sensors and actuators to our StrikeShield protection system
- Maintaining and further developing our existing software
- Helping develop safety-critical and near-real-time software
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree, e.g. in computer science or information technology
- Relevant experience in embedded programming and functional safety
- Good C/C++ programming skills and basic knowledge of radar technology
- Solid knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell
- Committed and independent way of working and confident demeanor
- Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
