Solution Designer - Autonomous UxV Control

As Solution Designer you are responsible for technology product planning and the delivery of complex software development projects in autonomous systems at Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH.

• Technical responsibility for products in Autonomous UxV Control across the whole product lifecycle (PLC)
• Technical contact and interface from the product area to projects, programs and neighboring departments
• Responsibility for creating and maintaining reference architectures and specifications
• Analysis of customer requirements and initiation and technical assessment of make-or-buy decisions
• Technical handling of national and international research and development projects in autonomous systems

• Completed technical master's degree (ideally focused on robotics, machine learning, computer science or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in autonomous systems, ideally developing UxV systems
• Experience technically leading interdisciplinary development teams (ideally software projects)
• Enjoyment in always evaluating the latest scientific findings and approaches in autonomous systems and putting them into practice
• Confident presence and communication at all company levels
• High intercultural competence
• Negotiation-level English (spoken and written), especially technical English
• Willingness to travel worldwide
