System Developer - Communications Engineering & Mobile Communications

As a systems engineer with focus on software and networks you play a central role in developing complex technical systems. You combine software architecture, network technologies and systems engineering into powerful overall solutions.

• Develop and optimize systems and components with mobile radio data links (e.g. LTE, 5G, future standards)
• Create concepts, architectures, specifications and test plans for systems and components
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams at customers, suppliers and internal departments
• Analyze, model and simulate transmission paths and communication protocols
• Conduct system tests, performance analyses and validations in lab and field (5G transmission protocols, campus networks, front- & backhaul)
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults in complex communication systems

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, telecommunications engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years professional experience in mobile communications or communications engineering
• Experience from Bundeswehr signals sector an advantage
• Deep knowledge of digital modulation methods, signal processing and mobile radio protocols
• Confident handling of measurement and test equipment
• Experience with tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python or comparable development environments
• Structured working method, analytical thinking and team orientation
