System Developer Ship Theory/Ship Design

Are you enthusiastic about solving complex tasks in the field of ship theory/ship design in a maritime environment? As a System Developer (m/f/d) in the area of maritime systems, you are responsible for creating solution concepts, defining the software packages to be developed, monitoring and testing the implementation in the field of ship theory/ship design. After integrating the developed solutions into the system, you conduct system and integration tests including error analysis. Negotiating technical content with partners, customers and suppliers as well as technical sales presentations at customer sites also fall within your area of responsibility.

• Support in definition, planning and control of work packages (IST / SOLL)
• Conducting requirements analyses and management
• Technical sales presentation at customer site
• Coordination or creation of essential system documents
• Creation of system architectures and system modeling
• Monitoring and ensuring architecture implementation
• Support of technical reviews and audits
• Creation of technical decision templates (e.g. make or buy) as well as test concepts and documents
• Reporting and presentation of development results in project status meetings

• Completed degree in ship theory/ship design with knowledge of potential theory
• Desirable: knowledge of CFD
• Good English skills written and spoken, especially technical English
• Willingness to travel worldwide
