Systems Engineer

Systems engineer (m/f/d) at Rheinmetall Soldier Electronics GmbH in Stockach, full-time, permanent contract.

• Technical control and monitoring of project progress including documentation, in close cooperation with the production coordinator
• Providing analyses and technical input at system level to determine optimal solutions for test programs, systems and own products in laser light modules
• Developing electronics and software with the Industrial Engineering team to control system programs, optimize systems and coordinate service providers
• Assessing requirements considering their impact on cost, schedule and technical specification
• Analyzing and detailing customer specifications and helping develop the system architecture and suitable optimization strategies
• Technical support of system projects and coordination of key interfaces
• Analyzing production processes, improving the system landscape and planning equipment in coordination between project management and purchasing

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, systems engineering, physics or a comparable field (must-have)
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position with interdisciplinary systems knowledge in mechanics, electronics, software, optics and industrial engineering (must-have)
• Knowledge of PLC programming and experience with LabVIEW (must-have)
• Experience in requirements analysis and assessment, test procedures and standardization (desirable)
• Good written and spoken English skills (must-have)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills (must-have)
