Contract Manager

As a Contract Manager (m/f/d) in the Legal department, you take on a key role at the interface between law and operational business. You negotiate and design complex contracts and lay the foundation for legally and economically secure business relationships through preventive risk management in contract management.

• You create, review and negotiate contracts, in particular individual and framework contracts for work, purchase and service contracts as well as license and cooperation agreements
• You analyze customer contracts and derive supplier contracts from them according to the flow-down principle
• You accompany claim management from legal review through assertion and follow-up to support of internal processes
• You advise internal departments on relevant legal issues and act as an interface to the group legal department
• You further develop contract documents, adapt them to legal and group-internal requirements and manage deadline and archive management

• Completed degree in business or law, preferably as a business lawyer (m/f/d), alternatively a business administration degree with a focus on law or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in contract management or in a comparable legally oriented function
• Negotiation-proficient German and English skills in word and writing
• A pronounced analytical and solution-oriented mindset, an independent working style as well as very good negotiation and communication skills
• Teamwork, enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as a structured and conscientious working style with high quality awareness
