About this Apprenticeship
University Hospital Gießen and Marburg is seeking a medical assistant for its occupational health examination unit in Gießen, starting immediately. This is a temporary, part-time position covering sickness absence.
What You'll Learn
- Help carry out occupational health examinations
- Maintain health records
- Manage appointments and carry out administrative work
- Handle correspondence
- Carry out medical function tests, including vision and hearing tests
- Perform medical laboratory tests in a small laboratory
- Assist during vaccination clinics
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training
- Initial experience in occupational medicine is desirable
- Friendly manner with patients
- Ability to work in a team
- Independent and organised approach to work
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good MS Office skills are an advantage
