Medical Assistant/Control Desk, Medical Clinic IV, Hematology and Oncology

The University Hospital Giessen and Marburg is looking for a medical assistant (m/f/d) for Medical Clinic IV, Hematology and Oncology as soon as possible, permanent full-time position.

• Coordinating the processes of the organ oncology day clinic and outpatient clinic incl. consultation assistance
• Appointment scheduling, administration of findings and documents
• Assistance with patient administration
• Service recording as well as phone and email correspondence and support in process optimization

• Completed training as a medical assistant or medical or commercial training as well as sound knowledge of medical terminology
• Professional experience in hematology/oncology and/or a similar field and good knowledge of organizational processes in a hospital are desirable
• Confident use of modern office technology (e.g. MS Office)
• High degree of flexibility
• Empathy, teamwork and quick comprehension
• Open, communicative person with commitment, conscientiousness and creativity who can adapt flexibly to changing situations
