Thesis: Thermal Joining Processes in Welding Technology

Thesis at Bosch in Blaichach in thermal joining processes and welding technology in the "Video and Brake" product area. You work in a team of process development and laboratory. Enrollment at a university is required.

• Independently carry out process investigations for new thermal joining processes in the "Video and Brake" product area
• Learn the basics of laser or friction welding technology
• Create detailed test plans, run them in the lab, evaluate results statistically and analyze complex relationships
• Present your results convincingly
• Work closely with product development, production and prototype and equipment construction
• Develop innovative manufacturing technologies or optimize existing processes
• Document your findings in a thesis and present the results

• Studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, optical technologies, physics or similar
• Confident use of MS Office and theoretical knowledge or practical experience in thermal joining processes and materials science
• You achieve goals together with others, take on tasks independently, react flexibly to change and develop solutions in a targeted way
• Hybrid work environment with office days and mobile working by arrangement
• Fluent German and very good English
• Enrollment at a university
