Apprenticeship: Plant Mechanic (2027)

Plant mechanics are indispensable in our production and at customer sites. They manufacture, for example, mechanical individual parts which they assemble together with other components into assemblies, apparatuses, piping systems, or entire plants. They work according to drawings and the associated welding instructions. They manufacture, e.g., boilers, containers, and their components for power plant construction or the food industry for German and international customers. Quality is particularly important here. Our plant professionals apply various test procedures for quality control - ensuring that quality is always right. As service technicians, they commission machines and plants, maintain them, ensure their smooth operation, and rectify faults. They also have a knack for precision work and are versatile. Thus, their knowledge is particularly in demand in individual and series production, assembly, quality assurance, and service.

Focus and course of the apprenticeship: Through block instruction at the vocational school, you will receive a solid technical knowledge. You will deal with, among other things, the maintenance of technical systems, the assembly of assemblies and technical systems, the monitoring of product and process quality, as well as the production, commissioning, and maintenance of technical systems. In the first 20 months, you will receive a solid training in metalworking, CNC technology, and control technology in our modern training workshop. Manual and machine skills such as filing, sawing, milling, and turning will be taught to you through interesting training projects. In addition, you will gain deeper insights into welding technology through various projects. Several welding tests are also achieved here. You will deepen your knowledge and skills in training courses. In the technical and skill areas, you will deal with the production of our boilers or boiler components. Through practical experience in the company, you will expand not only your professional knowledge and skills but also your personal qualifications such as independence, reliability, and team spirit. Apprenticeship duration: 3.5 years
