• What you will learn and develop with us (depending on your focus area):
• Hardware & Systems Engineering (Focus Powertrain Solutions - PS): You will dive deep into the international development network for automotive control units. You will accompany the entire hardware product development chain: from requirements analysis, circuit design, power semiconductors, and PCB layout to simulation, verification, EMC validation, and support of series production.
• Software, IoT & Smart Systems (Focus Home Comfort - HC): You will shape the future of smart heating technology and indoor climate solutions. You will work on future technologies such as AI, IoT, embedded software, data science, cloud architectures, or develop complex mechatronic system architectures and control systems.
• You will learn to coordinate interdisciplinary and international teams, manage interfaces (with production, purchasing, software, and customers), and successfully lead complex technological projects in an agile manner.

• Your academic foundation: An outstanding full-time Master's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Embedded Systems, Vehicle Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Physics, or in Computer Science, Software Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or comparable fields.
• Your passion for mechatronic and digital systems: Your goal is to assess the technical and economic feasibility of new product generations and lead them to series maturity—whether in the development of innovative vehicle hardware and control units or in the implementation of AI, IoT solutions, embedded software, and cloud systems.
• Your eye for the big picture: You find it fascinating to analyze complex interrelationships, coordinate functional interfaces (e.g., with mechanics, software, purchasing, and production), and optimally align innovative system architectures with the requirements of global target markets and our customers.
• Your understanding of people-centric leadership: You live by the conviction that outstanding results only emerge through empowering people. With emotional intelligence and empathy, you foster an environment where interdisciplinary and international teams unfold their full potential and succeed together.
• You think strategically and shape the future: You recognize the big picture and derive critical technical KPIs and future-oriented R&D roadmaps from market requirements. You bring strong analytical skills to develop innovative solution concepts (from circuit designs to software algorithms in Matlab, Python, or C) and continuously drive them forward.
• Your continuous development: In our dynamic environment, you use your ability to learn quickly every day and continuously develop yourself—a growth mindset that we actively support and promote.
• Your language skills: You communicate fluently in English (negotiation level) and have a strong command of the German language (or the drive to develop it quickly) to move confidently in both our international and local environments. At least three months of international experience round off your profile.
