• Preparation and simplification of mechanical CAD assemblies for electromagnetic 3D full-wave simulation
• Conducting EM simulations to investigate field changes during mechanical movements
• Parameterization and automation of simulation runs via scripting for systematic data and error pattern generation
• Comparison of simulation results with selective real measurement data to validate the sim-to-real approach

• Master's in Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics, Mechatronics, Computational Engineering or comparable degree program
• Sound knowledge of electrodynamics, wave propagation, cavity resonators and high-frequency technology
• Practical experience with 3D EM simulation software (e.g. ANSYS HFSS, CST MWS,...)
• Good knowledge of Python or MATLAB for automation and data analysis
• Very good German and English skills both written and spoken
