• During your activity, you analyze production and logistics processes precisely and uncover hidden improvement potentials together with the team.
• From complex production data, you derive meaningful key figures that you evaluate soundly to transparently prove the success of improvement measures.
• In close cooperation with the specialist departments, you transfer identified potentials into concrete, practical improvements directly in production.
• Furthermore, you participate in the conception and implementation of Industrial IoT solutions by supporting the selection of hardware and software and accompanying initial trials to network our machines.
• For the efficient recording and archiving of machine data, you develop database concepts and visualize the gained insights clearly in tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Last but not least, you document process flows in a structured manner and ensure that all implemented changes are recorded transparently and traceably.

• Education: Studies in industrial engineering, business informatics, mechanical engineering or comparable
• Experience and know-how: initial knowledge in industrial engineering, production, logistics or analysis and improvement of production processes; knowledge in data analysis and business intelligence applications (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage; initial experience with digitalization solutions, a programming language (e.g. Python, Java, R), SQL or SAP
• Personality and work style: you are able to approach tasks independently and with commitment, proceeding in a structured manner and contributing to practical projects
• Daily work: Office presence required
• Enthusiasm: for the analysis and optimization of production processes and a strong interest in digital tools to support these tasks
• Languages: Negotiation-proficient German and English
• Prerequisite for the working student activity is enrollment at a university.
