Maintenance Engineer Metrology / Defect Density Engineering

Robert Bosch Semiconductor Manufacturing Dresden GmbH is looking for a Maintenance Engineer in a fully continuous 24/7 shift system (6:4 shift model) to ensure production availability and proper maintenance of the equipment. Full-time, permanent.

• Together with the team, ensure production availability and proper, high-quality maintenance of the equipment in a fully continuous 24/7 shift system
• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance in compliance with safety requirements and work instructions, and independently and proactively troubleshoot electrical, electronic and mechanical systems, also with external service partners
• Independently perform qualifications based on given instructions and operate necessary equipment
• Ensure high machine availability (uptime) and equipment stability using methods such as SPC
• Create handling instructions and checklists for maintenance and document your work in detail
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement and take part in equipment commissioning

• Education: successfully completed skilled-trade training in a technical field (electrical engineering, mechatronics, electronics or similar) with initial field-specific work experience
• Experience and know-how: work experience in hands-on maintenance (preventive maintenance and troubleshooting), ideally in the semiconductor industry; knowledge of production and maintenance of technical equipment and systems (preferably semiconductor equipment); knowledge of methods such as SPC desirable
• Personality: team-oriented, flexible, motivated, strong communicator
• Working style: forward-thinking, independent, self-responsible, result- and quality-oriented and highly reliable; knowledge of extensive safety regulations and assessment of possible hazards in daily work
• Languages: very good German and good English
