Implant Maintenance Engineer

Robert Bosch Semiconductor Manufacturing Dresden GmbH is seeking a specialist to maintain and repair equipment. This permanent, full-time role follows a continuous 24/7 shift system with six working days followed by four days off. The start date is by agreement.

• As an Implant Maintenance Engineer working a continuous 24/7 shift system, you work with your team to keep production available and ensure equipment maintenance in your area is carried out properly and to a high standard.
• You carry out planned and unplanned maintenance in line with safety rules and work instructions, and independently anticipate, identify and resolve faults in electrical, electronic and mechanical systems with your internal team and, by arrangement, external service partners.
• You independently carry out equipment qualification procedures using the provided instructions and operate the necessary equipment.
• You ensure high machine availability and equipment stability using methods such as SPC.
• You prepare maintenance handling instructions and related checklists in consultation with others. You document your work in detail in the maintenance applications.
• You actively contribute to continuous improvement and help commission equipment.

• Education: completed technical vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, electronics or a similar field, with initial relevant work experience
• Experience and knowledge: practical maintenance experience, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, ideally in the semiconductor industry; knowledge of the production and maintenance of technical equipment and systems, preferably semiconductor equipment; knowledge of methods such as SPC is desirable
• Personality: a flexible, motivated team player with strong communication skills
• Working approach: forward-thinking, independent, responsible, focused on results and quality, and highly reliable; knowledge of extensive safety rules and the ability to assess potential hazards in daily work
• Languages: very good German and good English
