Software Architecture and Conception: Systematic development of future-proof technical concepts and design of modular, scalable software architectures in the BAF (Building Automation Facility) area. Embedded and Real-Time C++ Development: Independent specification and implementation of hardware-related system software using modern C/C++ standards, real-time operating systems (RTOS/Embedded Linux), and common bus systems (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, KNX, CAN). Security and Refactoring: Sustainable quality assurance of the code base through continuous refactoring and proactive protection of controls and networks through modern cybersecurity standards. Modern Tooling and Quality Assurance: Professional use of modern development environments (CMake, compiler toolchains) and version control systems (Git) as well as the design of automated test environments and CI/CD pipelines. Project & Interface Work: Technical consulting and support of product management in creating specifications, developing technical requirement specifications, and estimating development efforts.

• C/C++ and Embedded OS: Several years of professional experience in software development with C and modern C++ under embedded operating systems (Windows/Linux) and ideally RTOS.
• Hardware Understanding: Sound knowledge of microelectronics for optimal design of the interface between system software and hardware components.
• Tooling and Protocols: Experience with modern development tools (Git/GitHub, CMake) and ideally knowledge of BAF network and fieldbus technologies (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
• Analytical and Systematic Working Style: A structured, goal-oriented way of working combined with high analytical ability and perseverance in understanding complex system architectures.
• Personality and Team Spirit: Strong initiative, communication skills, and teamwork for collaboration at cross-functional interfaces.
• Language Skills: Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken, for precise technical documentation and smooth team communication.
