Internship in Work and Production Planning in a Digital Environment

Internship at Bosch Rexroth in production planning, workshop management and production control. Enrollment at a university is required. Start by arrangement, duration 3 to 6 months.

• During your internship, experience everyday work in production planning, workshop management and production control and put what you learned in your studies into practice.
• You will apply lean management principles close to production and get to know the Bosch Production System (BPS). You can help shape the production area, for example by carrying out 5S activities and developing and introducing standards.
• You will also take part in various value stream projects, for example by designing and setting up workplaces, supporting the commissioning of new machines and systems, or developing digital solutions for order control.
• When quality problems arise, your commitment is needed: after root cause analysis using suitable problem-solving methods, you proactively follow up the measures developed and introduced.
• You can use your MS Office skills to prepare daily key figure reports (QKL). You will also learn essential SAP skills that will benefit you in the future.
• Working with AI and creating and extending various Power BI dashboards are also part of your tasks.
• As an important member of an agile and motivated team, you work with experienced colleagues as well as other students. Regular exchange within our group and across departments is part of daily routine.

• Education: studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, mechatronics or similar
• Experience and know-how: confident use of MS Office, prior knowledge of machining processes or lean management desirable
• Personality and working style: you take responsibility for your tasks, work independently on projects and set clear goals that you pursue consistently
• Enthusiasm: for developing and implementing solutions in the production environment
• Languages: fluent German and good English
