Global Process Owner Record to Report (GPO)

For the Digital Process Transformation team in Nuremberg, we are looking for a Global Process Owner Record to Report who defines and further develops global finance process standards.

• Defining and enforcing global process standards in close coordination with central contacts and in line with global strategic goals (focus on E2E processes in Record to Report)
• Ensuring an integrated end-to-end R2R process from data capture to consolidated reporting, including close integration with upstream processes (O2C, P2P)
• Assessing and managing local requirements and deviations considering compliance, professional regulations and global harmonization
• Active role in international transformation projects, especially the global rollout of an ERP template as a basis for process harmonization and optimization
• Continuous development of R2R processes through integration, automation and simplification measures
• Managing and communicating process changes to relevant stakeholders and deriving and implementing training and enablement measures
• Defining and establishing KPIs to measure efficiency, quality and transparency in the R2R process (e.g. closing times, error rates, reconciliation differences)
• Ensuring audit-proof process documentation (e.g. in Celonis or comparable tools) as a basis for transparency, auditability and continuous improvement

• Completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting, finance, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in accounting/record to report, especially general ledger, monthly/annual closing and reporting, ideally in a professional services environment
• Solid experience in optimizing and harmonizing finance processes, ideally in an international context
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and a good understanding of data and system integration
• Experience in transformation and rollout projects (template approaches, shared services, standardization)
• Structured, independent way of working and the ability to drive and implement topics clearly
• Strong communication skills in an international environment and very good written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel internationally from time to time
