Systems Engineer Radar Detection Systems

Technical responsibility for complex customer projects in radar detection systems at Rohde & Schwarz in Kiel. Full-time, permanent.

• Technical responsibility for realizing complex customer projects in radar detection systems
• Accompanying the system in close coordination with the customer from the offer phase through requirements analysis to commissioning and customer acceptance
• Creating development, product and verification documents
• Working in an interdisciplinary project team and supporting product management and sales with offers and standards
• Responsibility for internal development and external supplies regarding quality, cost and time

• Successfully completed technical or scientific degree, or comparable training with relevant professional experience
• First experience in the design, planning and integration of complex electronic systems (software and hardware)
• Ideally experience with radar or communication signals, strong technical affinity and willingness to learn new radar detection technologies
• Enjoy project work and working directly with customers
• Ideally experience with IT systems (e.g. network, server, virtualization, Windows) and IT security
• Negotiation-level German and English, written and spoken, and basic willingness to travel
