About this Apprenticeship
You shape how our stores of tomorrow will be furnished. As Department Head Store Planning and Assortment Planning, you plan strategically and operationally how our stores present themselves and which products find their place – always with an eye on our corporate goals and what our customers really need. This creates optimal working conditions for our colleagues in the store and a great shopping experience. In doing so, you actively develop our store network and make shopping at ROSSMANN better piece by piece. A focus: You optimize and digitalize our planning processes and build an integrated, future-proof store planning.
What You'll Learn
- With clear direction, you lead the Department Store Planning and Assortment Planning / Object Development professionally and disciplinarily and strengthen your team in daily work.
- Together with your employees, you shape the structure of our stores – from the first floor plan to the coherent assortment on the shelf.
- From good ideas you make tangible plans: You create shelving, space allocation and assortment framework plans with an eye for detail and impact.
- You drive digital store planning forward and build a reliable data basis that makes decisions easier and faster.
- At the interfaces to shopfitting, purchasing, merchandising, marketing, layout and other areas, you bring people, topics and goals together.
- In exchange with sales, department management and executive management, you represent your planning positions clearly, confidently and to the point.
- You test new store concepts and assortment approaches in pilot projects while keeping budget, feasibility and customer experience firmly in view.
Requirements
- You have a completed degree, a technical or commercial apprenticeship with further training or a comparable qualification and have several years of experience in store planning, floor planning, assortment planning or branch planning in a retail environment.
- Leadership suits you: You develop employees, provide orientation and accompany change with a feel for people and goals.
- You work confidently with CAD and current planning tools and translate ideas into precise, actionable store concepts.
- Experience in store construction and shopfitting projects helps you to cleanly link planning and implementation.
- Analytical thinking, conceptual strength and joy in digital processes make you a strong sparring partner for new solutions.
- Communication, assertiveness and team spirit combine with a confident handling of MS Office and a clear view of the essentials.
