About this Apprenticeship
An apprenticeship with R+V Insurance in bank sales in the Mannheim region. Working with Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken, you learn to advise customers on insurance, planning for the future and financial investments. The standard training lasts 2.5 years.
What You'll Learn
- Connect theory and practice: work as part of the sales team in Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken branches and build your knowledge at vocational school in Karlsruhe
- Understand insurance: learn about our insurance and financial products and see how advice is given to real customers.
- Work in a team: prepare and follow up customer advice meetings, create quotes and help the team complete contracts.
Requirements
- Intermediate school leaving certificate or qualification for university or a university of applied sciences
- Curiosity and an interest in advising customers and business topics
- Motivation to learn new things
- Driving licence by the start of training
- Also welcome: students who have realised during their current degree that they would prefer a new challenge with more practical work
What R+V Versicherung offers
- Fixed training pay: €1,455 per month in the first year, €1,532 in the second and €1,620 in the third, plus holiday and Christmas bonuses worth two months' pay.
- Support for your development: well organised training, a mentoring programme, internal training and support to develop your skills.
- The standard training lasts 2.5 years. Good performance can allow you to finish in 2 years.
- Financial support: savings contributions, help with learning materials, and travel or rent support depending on your distance from the vocational school.
- Modern workplace: 30 days of holiday plus 24 and 31 December off, the latest iPhone and a notebook computer, and a 38-hour working week under the pay agreement.
