What You'll Learn
- As a nursing assistant, you care for people of all ages in hospitals and care facilities. You support qualified nursing staff and independently carry out care measures such as:
- Dressing and personal hygiene
- Assisting with meals
- Measuring vital signs
Requirements
- Lower secondary school-leaving certificate or equivalent educational qualification
- Minimum age of 16
- Medical fitness
- Empathy, motivation, team spirit and personality
- Enjoyment of and a sense of responsibility when working with ill people of all ages and their relatives
