About this Apprenticeship
You are looking for an apprenticeship with a future, want a secure job and varied tasks without a monotonous routine? You want to do something that truly makes sense and puts people at the center? Then we have exactly the right thing for you - even if you have never heard the term Social Insurance Specialist (m/f/d)! Look forward to a modern workplace that focuses on digitalization and genuine proximity to people! At SBK (Siemens Company Health Insurance Fund), you will act as a smart guide through the healthcare system, advise our customers in important life situations, and actively participate in developing new digital solutions for customer consulting. Sounds like an exciting challenge? It is - but one that is a lot of fun and gives you an excellent career foundation.
What You'll Learn
Navigator & Encourager: You accompany our customers by phone, in person, and in writing - from health prevention to support in all health-related situations, you provide orientation and real help. Relationship Manager: You are the key link between the insured and SBK, interacting with doctors, hospitals, employers, and authorities. Health Expert: You assess benefit entitlements, calculate contributions, clarify insurance questions, and apply laws directly in practice. Brand Ambassador: Through your empathy and competence, you inspire people about SBK and win new customers. Team Player: You work independently from the start but are securely embedded in a strong team with the support of training mentors. Heart for People: You are empathetic, communicative, and have a genuine feel for dealing with people. You enjoy contact with a wide variety of personalities (from young to old, from singles to large families). Strong Personality: You remain calm even in stressful moments. You don't need to know everything from the start - what matters to us is your willingness to help our customers. Curiosity about Health, Business & Law: You find the healthcare system exciting and are eager to delve into legal and economic topics. Enthusiasm for the Digital Future (Digital Skills): You are open to integrating new digital developments such as artificial intelligence (AI) into your daily work. Co-creator: You contribute your own ideas, think along, and actively want to help us improve. You see yourself as part of something you help shape.
Requirements
Your basis: At least a secondary school diploma (Mittlere Reife), technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur), or general university entrance qualification (Abitur) as well as proficient German skills for daily consulting and documentation. Career changers and university dropouts are also very welcome!
