• Basic and specialist training in metal processing
• Maintenance, repair and fault analysis of program-controlled machines and production systems
• Manufacturing complex components with conventional and CNC-controlled machining machines
• Setting up and operating control systems such as pneumatics, hydraulics or PLC
• Assembly of components
• Getting to know various production technologies, control engineering and robotics
• Setting up and operating modern production systems and machining centres
• Using various testing and measuring instruments
• Maintaining and providing tools and fixtures
