About this Apprenticeship
In our endoscopy unit you support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, work closely with the medical team and ensure safe, well-structured examinations. Schön Klinik Hamburg Eilbek is part of the Schön Klinik Group and an academic teaching hospital of the University of Hamburg.
What You'll Learn
- Professional procedure assistance: You assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and ensure a smooth process according to current guidelines.
- Safe sedation support: You monitor the sedation of patients in line with the applicable sedation guidelines.
- Careful instrument reprocessing: You hygienically reprocess the endoscopes according to RKI requirements and ensure all hygiene standards are met.
- Flexible on-call duty: You take part in up to six endoscopy on-call duties and work within regular hours from Monday to Friday.
Requirements
- You have completed training in health and nursing care or as a medical assistant (MFA) (m/f/d) and already have first experience in endoscopy.
- Ideally you already have an advanced endoscopy qualification and/or a sedation course, or you want to complete the endoscopy qualification.
- You enjoy teamwork and reliable, responsible care of our patients, whom we accompany on their way.
