Production Worker, Screen Printing Stencil Management

The sample production and stencil management teams support the manufacture of SCHOTT specialty glass products such as CERAN®, ROBAX® and NEXTREMA®, ensuring quality and reliable production supplies.

• Ensure materials and resources are available for production
• Manage and maintain stencil and ink stocks
• Carry out quality control processes and document results
• Store and retrieve screen printing stencils
• Enter SAP transactions for order processing and materials logistics
• Supply production with screen printing inks and stencils
• Monitor and inspect equipment used in screen management
• Handle hazardous substances
• Obtain production supplies internally
• Transport materials using industrial trucks
• Clear warehouse stocks, including disposing of items no longer needed
• Help improve processes, safety and efficiency

• Completed technical vocational training, for example as a machine and plant operator, warehouse logistics specialist or screen printer
• Experience in sample production and stencil management desirable
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes desirable
• Knowledge of SAP, MES and MS Office
• High quality standards and a careful approach to work
• Understanding of warehouse and logistics processes
• Experience operating industrial trucks desirable
• Flexibility to work across a wide range of tasks
• Willingness to work an early shift at weekends every 4 to 5 weeks and one week of late shifts every 4 weeks
