Senior Manager AR Industrialization

Fast-growing Augmented Reality business unit of SCHOTT AG. You develop and industrialize scalable manufacturing technologies for AR applications and work closely with interdisciplinary teams.

• Drive development, qualification and industrialization of innovative manufacturing technologies and production processes
• Take responsibility for specification, integration, commissioning and ramp-up of production equipment together with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Develop and implement automation and digitalization solutions to increase productivity, quality and scalability
• Lead technical projects within development and industrialization initiatives and ensure schedule, cost and performance targets are met
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, NPD, NPI, product management and external partners to achieve operational excellence and sustainable process improvements

• Completed degree in engineering, physics, automation technology, mechatronics or a comparable technical field
• Entrepreneurial personality who enjoys turning innovative ideas into scalable manufacturing solutions
• Solid experience in automation, equipment integration and modern production technologies
• Analytical thinking combined with a pragmatic, results-driven way of working
• Confident dealing with suppliers, development teams and production organizations in an international environment
• Motivation to shape the next generation of high-volume manufacturing technologies for modern optical and AR products
