Dual Study Program in Civil Engineering

The dual civil engineering degree combines theoretical phases at TH OWL in Lemgo with practical assignments at Schüco in Bielefeld. The focus is on the technical planning and construction of window, door and facade systems, as well as supporting construction projects from planning through implementation. The program lasts 4.5 years or 9 semesters.

Learn how window, door and facade systems are technically planned and constructed; work with 2D and 3D CAD software and create technical drawings, plans and visualizations; apply knowledge of building physics, building construction, mathematics and physics to real tasks; learn about aluminium system technology and manufacturing and assembly processes in facade construction; review, optimize and document technical concepts; contribute to the planning, coordination and implementation of construction and facade solutions; use digital tools and technical systems.

University of applied sciences entrance qualification, Abitur or vocational qualification for the degree; very good knowledge of physics and mathematics; interest in civil engineering, construction and technical planning processes; spatial awareness; analytical thinking; interest in CAD, digital tools and modern facade systems; team spirit, strong communication skills and willingness to take responsibility; good English skills.

30 days of leave; good compensation; good chances of permanent employment; flexible working hours; mobile working; modern campus with café and company restaurant; training center; international assignments and Exploration Days; health programs; company sports; fitness studio partnership; corporate benefits; Ticket-Sprinter and additional benefits.
