Dual Study Program in Industrial Engineering

A dual study programme with practical phases at Schüco in Bielefeld and academic phases at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Campus Minden. The three-month rotations combine technical, business and project-related subjects and prepare students for roles in areas including project management, product management, quality management, sales, supply chain, purchasing, research and development. Start: August 2027. Duration: 3.5 years.

Understand technical and business relationships and connect them in practice; gain insight into business processes, project workflows and value chains and help plan and implement them; analyse technical and commercial data; work with key figures, controlling and business development; learn about supply chain management, purchasing and process management; contribute to topics relating to products, production, quality and technical processes; use digital tools, data and analysis systems; learn to plan, manage and document projects; prepare presentations, analyses and documentation; use English in everyday work depending on the assignment.

Upper secondary qualification or vocational qualification for university study; interest in technology, business and industrial processes; good knowledge of mathematics and German, ideally also in science subjects; analytical thinking; interest in data, key figures and structured solutions; strong communication skills, team spirit and openness; good English skills; willingness to learn, initiative and a structured way of working.
