Apprenticeship - Electronics Technician for Operating Technology

In your 3.5-year apprenticeship, you will develop into a specialist (m/f/d) in the field of maintenance. You will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in electrical engineering and gain abilities in control technology and pneumatics. Measurement and testing procedures and the programming of PLC controls are also part of your training content. Not only for the planning and installation or for the commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems will you develop core competencies, but also for control and drive technology. You will learn to read technical plans, combine assemblies and components into machines and systems, the functionality of programmed electronic systems and their configuration. Your further areas of assignment include the elimination of electrical faults and the optimization of electrical systems. Your practical training takes place at the Bon Gelati site in Übach-Palenberg and your theoretical knowledge will be conveyed during regular vocational school lessons at the vocational college in Eschweiler.

You have a completed technical college entrance qualification (intermediate school leaving certificate, secondary school diploma or equivalent) with good grades in science subjects (especially mathematics and physics). You have an interest in working with technical equipment, machines and systems and possess manual dexterity. You show willingness to work in shifts during and after your apprenticeship. You are a team player, reliable, responsible and motivated.
