Apprenticeship - Specialist for Warehouse Logistics

In your 3-year apprenticeship you will learn the basics of logistical planning and organizational processes. You are responsible for the receipt, picking, loading, storage, packaging and transport of goods. Your training content includes the recording of goods in the merchandise management system, conducting inventory checks and creating storage lists as well as processing shipping and accompanying documents. You will learn how to operate industrial trucks. Your practical training takes place at Bonback at the Übach-Palenberg site and your theoretical knowledge will be taught during regular vocational school lessons at the Paul-Julius-Reuter Vocational College in Aachen.

You have a completed technical college entrance qualification (intermediate school leaving certificate, secondary school diploma or a comparable qualification) with good grades in science subjects (especially mathematics and physics). You have an affinity for numbers and logical understanding. You are interested in technical processes and enjoy working with computer-controlled systems. You show willingness to work in shifts during and after your apprenticeship. You are a team player, reliable and an organizational talent.
