Mechatronics Technician / Industrial Electrical Technician / Automation Technician

Solent Rheine is seeking technical staff to start immediately at its modern nut production plant. The permanent role covers repairs, maintenance and automation systems, with 38 working hours per week.

• Repair and maintain electronic equipment and systems to keep shift operations running smoothly
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and share all relevant information with technical and production shift leaders and colleagues, with full documentation
• Complete scheduled servicing and maintenance on time and according to instructions, including documentation and active support for technical staff
• Provide service-focused technical support during production shifts and meet current hygiene and quality standards
• Maintain and improve automation systems, including monitoring, servicing, repairs, testing, programming, commissioning and user instruction
• Document equipment inspections, including equipment inspection reports, and items taken from stores

• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, industrial electronics technician, industrial electrical technician, automation technician or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, experience in food production, packaging machinery, robotics, visualisation and Siemens S7 / TIA Portal / MES SAP
• Work in line with continuous improvement principles and show a strong service focus
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications or Google Workspace
• Willingness to work a three-shift system and occasional Saturdays
