Project Engineer Automation Technology

At Maxauer Papierfabrik, mainly waste paper is processed into versatile, environmentally friendly printing paper. The company is looking for a Project Engineer Automation Technology with varied and challenging tasks in the paper industry. Permanent position, 38 hours per week, to be filled as soon as possible.

• Contributing to and leading electrical engineering projects focused on automation technology, measurement, control and regulation technology
• Carrying out feasibility studies, basic and detail engineering within projects, preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, preparing investment decisions
• Designing automation and OT network systems, measurement and control equipment and machine safety systems
• Implementing projects including the required resource, cost and schedule planning, construction management and commissioning supervision
• Handling and documenting project work in the project management system
• Considering current standards, regulations and plant standards in project work as well as creating and revising plant standards

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering plus a completed degree (Bachelor/Master/Diplom) or state-certified technician in automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• Meeting the requirements to be appointed as a qualified electrician under DIN VDE 1000-10
• Existing experience in planning and coordinating electrical engineering projects at production plants
• Experience with automation systems such as Siemens Simatic S7, PCS7 or Valmet DNA
• Knowledge of programming and diagnosing process control systems, e.g. with SIMATIC TIA Portal or Valmet DNA Explorer
• Basic knowledge of creating electrical plans with eCAD systems such as COMOS or EPlan
