About this Apprenticeship
- What awaits you:
- You ensure a safe journey for our freight wagons by guaranteeing their operational safety and roadworthiness.
- You are responsible for the general inspection of the freight wagons and their brake systems.
- In case of irregularities on our wagons, you conduct systematic troubleshooting and eliminate them.
- You take over train preparation and perform shunting escort activities, in close coordination with deployment planning.
- You work in shift and alternating duty, for which you naturally receive corresponding allowances.

Requirements
- What you bring:
- Completed training as a wagon master (m/f/d) level 3 according to VDV-Schrift 758 or higher
- Professional experience in wagon technical service
- Unrestricted psychological and occupational medical fitness for railway operations
- Knowledge of German language in word and writing (according to TfV)
- Car driving license
- Enjoyment of working outdoors
- Flexibility, commitment, and motivation
