Function Electrician / Hardware Engineer

• As a Function Electrician / Hardware Engineer, you will independently handle the electrical design for our mechanical and plant engineering projects. Your tasks also include:
• Creation and maintenance of circuit diagrams, cable plans, parts lists, and other electrical documentation
• Creation and maintenance of material master data in SAP as well as preparation of purchase and material lists
• Execution of electrical design calculations and dimensioning
• Planning and calculation of safety functions and implementation of resulting measures
• Technical coordination with switchgear manufacturers, suppliers, and automation engineers
• Supervision and coordination of switchgear production
• Participation in FMEA workshops and risk assessments as well as constructive implementation of identified measures
• Contribution to the creation of requirement specifications and technical specifications
• Creation of installation and wiring concepts for assembly and commissioning
• Support of assembly and commissioning through technical accompaniment and problem solving
• Participation in the development and optimization of innovative plant and automation concepts
• Active support of project planning through electrical engineering expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Ensuring high-quality technical documentation and on-time project completion
• Participation in the standardization and further development of electrical design and automation solutions to increase quality, efficiency, and reusability

• You have a completed degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or mechatronics (Bachelor/Master) or a comparable qualification, e.g., as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering with relevant professional experience. Also important to us:
• Sound knowledge in creating circuit diagrams, switchgear design, safety and CE technology, risk assessments, and project planning of electrical equipment
• Proficient use of EPLAN P8 and SAP
• Experience in performing safety calculations according to EN ISO 13849
• Creation of customer documentation
• Technical support of switchgear construction, assembly, and commissioning
• Good German and English skills
• Willingness to travel internationally
