Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) at Küstenkinder Nursery

One year of voluntary social service at Küstenkinder nursery in Wilhelmshaven. You will support children in their daily activities and help the childcare team and Familienzentrum Süd.

• Support children during free play indoors and outdoors
• Help children at mealtimes
• Help with household tasks
• Provide personal care, such as changing nappies and helping children use the toilet
• Attend team meetings and internal discussions
• Help organise celebrations, activities and events
• Carefully follow the rules for protecting children and people in care
• Be someone children can talk to and play with, and help them build relationships
• Support Familienzentrum Süd

• A clear understanding of your role when working with nursery-age children
• Openness to diversity and different ways of life
• Enjoyment of nature and spending time outdoors every day
• Interest, curiosity and enjoyment in working with children and as part of a team
