Apprenticeship as an Anesthesia Technical Assistant (ATA), Starting 2027

St. Elisabeth Gruppe – Katholische Kliniken Rhein-Ruhr is a large hospital group in Herne and Witten offering modern workplaces and development opportunities. It is seeking trainees for its facilities starting on August 1, 2027. The three-year apprenticeship includes 2,100 hours of theory and 2,500 hours of practical training.

Work in operating rooms, emergency departments and recovery rooms; collaborate with doctors; care for patients before, during and after operations; prepare and monitor anesthesia; provide post-anesthesia care.

Intermediate secondary school certificate or an equivalent qualifying school-leaving certificate; physical fitness; flexibility and mobility; communication and teamwork skills; minimum age of 18; empathy toward patients; enjoyment and aptitude for working with people.
