Apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician for Agricultural and Construction Machinery

The dual apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years and combines theory at Goldenberg Vocational College in Hürth with practical training at the Office for Landscape Management and Green Areas. You will learn about the construction and operation of engines, brakes, and steering systems, as well as mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power transmission.

Carry out recurring assembly, disassembly, and repair work on vehicles and operational equipment; perform standardized inspection and adjustment work on vehicles; assess and repair faults and damage; manufacture replacement parts; communicate with customers in service operations.

Intermediate secondary school diploma or a higher school-leaving qualification; manual dexterity; basic technical understanding; enjoyment of communicating with other people; commitment, teamwork, and openness to change.
