Over 2.5 years you will get to know many different areas of the city administration, such as the Personnel and Organization Office or the Treasury. In each training department you will be guided by trained instructors and familiarized with typical work processes. Your block lessons take place at the Wessenberg School in Konstanz. There you will have general education classes in German, Civics, General Economics, Public Law, Municipal Finance, Legal Studies, Accounting, Data and Text Processing.

Intermediate school leaving certificate or Abitur; Good grades in German and Math; Carefulness and accuracy as well as analytical skills; Customer- and service-oriented behavior; Good and quick comprehension; Ability to explain complex topics well; Good memory, e.g. for legal provisions
