- acquire sound knowledge in the regular Bachelor's program in Business Administration (B.A.) and apply it in enhanced practical phases at the City of Nuremberg to questions of public administration
- deal with the legal foundations of public administration, in particular constitutional law and general administrative law
- engage with public finances and their economic use, learning the fundamentals of financial science, New Public Management, and public accounting
- analyze economic and social contexts and learn to evaluate data and key figures
- work on concrete questions related to the public sector within the framework of practical research, applying business, legal, and quantitative methods
- deepen your knowledge through elective modules and address questions from the public sector in your Bachelor's thesis
- learn how public tasks can be designed and developed economically, legally secure, and future-oriented
Requirements
- What we need:
- Complete and meaningful application documents with cover letter, CV, and certificates (school, training, internship, and possibly employment references)
- Varied, practice-oriented dual study program at the Nuremberg Institute of Technology in conjunction with the City of Nuremberg, leading to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree
- Independent assumption of tasks within the team with support and personal supervision by the training department
- Secure job in the public service with location guarantee and opportunities to shape the city and meaningful activities for the citizens of Nuremberg
- Very good chances of being hired after successful completion of studies
- Attractive remuneration with annual special payment, 31 days of annual leave, and flexible working hours
- Subsidy for the reduced-price Deutschlandticket (VAG)
- When using the Deutschlandticket, 600 free minutes per month for the VAG bike are included, and from age 18 an additional 15 free minutes for Voi e-scooters
