Social Worker in Addiction Aftercare

Community-based supported housing for people with addiction and dual diagnoses in Nürnberg. Help clients move towards independent, addiction-free lives and return to work and social life. The role involves 20 to 30 hours per week and ends on 31 December 2027.

• Provide comprehensive advice and support to clients within a system of assigned support workers.
• Hold individual and group social work sessions and lead therapeutic, condition-specific and leisure activity groups.
• Provide individual casework and accompany clients to doctors, specialist services, public offices and authorities.
• Prepare reports and records carefully according to funding bodies' guidelines. Take an active part in team meetings, case conferences and further training.
• The role ends on 31 December 2027.

• A degree in Social Work (BA or Diplom)
• You think and act flexibly.
• You show a high level of personal responsibility, self-organisation and reliability.
• You are comfortable using a computer and hold a category B driving licence.
• You identify with the organisation's Christian social mission and are happy to support it.
