Facility for unaccompanied minor refugees (umaS) in Erlangen. Become part of our new team, accompany the young people long-term and shape their lives positively!

• You accompany unaccompanied minor refugees in a residential setting and support them in their admission, assistance, integration and transition processes.
• You organize and conduct creative projects and experiential educational activities where you can contribute your talents and interests.
• Actively shape the care planning and participate in the individual support of the young people.
• You work in shift service, which includes regular working hours in the morning, afternoon, at night and on weekends.
• The position is limited to one year.

• University degree in social pedagogy, social work or an apprenticeship as educator, curative education nurse or a comparable qualification.
• You enjoy relationship work with young people from different cultures and advocate for their rights and opportunities.
• In stressful situations you keep an overview. Especially here your conflict, stress and boundary management skills are required.
• You like to contribute conceptually and creatively. For this you need organizational skills.
• You are willing to work in shift service (also on weekends).
• You feel connected to our diaconal mission and are happy to support it.
