• Technical Practice 1
• Use of tools for electrical assembly
• Soldering exercises for electrical connections
• Laying of PVC single-core and sheathed cables
• Construction and wiring of contactor circuits according to circuit diagrams (bill of materials, terminal plan, assembly plan, circuit diagram)

• Technical Practice 2
• Construction and wiring of contactor circuits
• Performing measurements according to VDE regulations
• Professional assembly of circuit boards according to documentation

• Technical Practice in the Company
• Connecting and operating plant-related peripheral devices
• Testing functions on digital switching elements and circuits
• Entering, testing, modifying, saving, and documenting the user program
• Testing and commissioning partial functions and the overall function of the production plant
• Operating the plant, setting setpoints, measuring and documenting operating values
• Systematic troubleshooting, application of plant-related diagnostic devices
• Rectifying faults or arranging for their rectification
• Delimitation of work that may be carried out independently, e.g., also on systems that are not de-energized
• Checking handheld power tools for damage and function and repairing them in compliance with the relevant regulations (VDE 0701)
• Checking mechanical and electrical safety devices, especially emergency stop circuits, for their effectiveness (VDE 0113)
• Inspecting and, if necessary, replacing electrotechnical wear parts (switching contacts, limit switches, etc.)
