Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Electronics/Communication Technology work in diverse functions and fields of activity. They develop, calculate, design, and test new components, assemblies, devices, machines, systems, and electrical engineering systems or processes for their manufacture. They monitor the production, assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems and systems of all kinds. They are also active in sales, technical customer consulting, work preparation, and quality assurance.

Our Location

At Tesat-Spacecom GmbH & Co. KG in Backnang, approximately 1,100 employees develop, manufacture, and distribute systems and devices for telecommunication via satellite. The product spectrum ranges from the smallest space-specific components to modules, entire assemblies, or payloads. TESAT is the world's sole provider and technological leader in optical terminals for data transmission via laser (LCTs). To date, approximately 1000 space projects have been carried out.

We have our own Ausbildung department with a workshop and laboratories, where specialized courses are also regularly held during the practical phases.
