Apprenticeship as Machine and Plant Operator

Do you enjoy group work at school? Welcome to the team! At our company, you won't stand alone at the machine; you'll coordinate extensively with colleagues from upstream and downstream production departments, e.g., for quality control. Math may not have been your favorite subject, but are you fit in basic arithmetic? Then you're in the right place! You'll deepen your math skills alongside other training-related subjects at vocational school. Get familiar with materials – you'll complete a basic metalworking training in our in-house training workshop. Here you'll learn the different properties and applications of metallic and non-metallic substances in various courses, forming the foundation of your apprenticeship. Get to know the departments – department rotations occur at regular intervals. New machines such as punching systems, milling automats, or welding machines await you, with which you'll process a wide variety of orders depending on the production step. This contributes to turning raw materials into individual parts, which are then assembled into high-quality products. Start at the machine – our training staff will show you how to start and set up the various machines. You'll then load the systems with necessary materials like wire or sheet metal and monitor the proper production process. You'll also learn what to look for in quality control of raw materials and finished products. Maintain and inspect our systems – we'll teach you how to keep our machines running and handle malfunctions. This includes replacing wear parts, refilling operating fluids, or performing minor repairs.

Technical interest in large machines and production systems; Teamwork and communication skills for coordination with upstream and downstream departments; Basic math skills (basic arithmetic); At least a secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) or equivalent; Application documents: cover letter, CV, last two school reports, proof of internships, certificates, volunteer work, etc. (if available)
