Apprenticeship as a Systems Mechanic – Fire Suppression Systems Technology

You will learn to plan, build and safely operate fire suppression and fire protection systems. You will become familiar with different suppression systems, process pipes and components, install systems on construction sites, and carry out maintenance, inspections and modifications.

Planning, building and operating fire suppression and fire protection systems; learning about different suppression systems such as sprinkler and water mist systems; cutting, bending and connecting pipes and components; assembling and installing fire suppression systems on construction sites; maintaining, inspecting and modifying existing systems; working with other trades; creating sketches, isometric drawings and revision documents; learning about planning, safety technology and fire protection standards.

Good Realschule certificate, Fachabitur or Abitur; manual skills and enjoyment of practical work; mathematical and technical understanding; willingness to travel throughout Germany; motivation and physical resilience; friendly and customer-oriented manner; enthusiasm for learning and development; team spirit and reliability.
