Apprenticeship as Plant Mechanic 2027 – Fire Extinguishing System Technology

You will learn to plan, build and safely operate fire extinguishing and fire protection systems. You will get to know various extinguishing systems and their components (e.g. sprinkler and water mist systems). You will work on pipes and components by cutting, bending and connecting them. You will assemble and install extinguishing systems on our construction sites. You will carry out maintenance, inspections and conversions on existing systems. You will work with other trades and coordinate on the construction site. You will create sketches, isometrics and revision documents for our projects. You will gain insights into planning, safety technology and standards in fire protection.
